Vacation Time by Biel Cardona

From Biel Cardona to Stephan Nesmith

Hi Stephan! How are you?

This course is finishing, there are only two days left to finish. The past weeks I had a lot of exams at school, the past week and this week we're doing the synthesis credit in groups. Tomorrow all 3rd of ESO classes will go to visit some interesting places in Tarragona and also to the beach. This is going to be the last outing of this school year.

I really want to finish this course and go to the swimming pool with my friends. I love summer and I need holidays because I'm so stressed! This summer I am going to practice my English because I will go two weeks to a small town by the seaside called L'Escala in Girona and I will combine English classes with sports. I will also go to visit another city called Solsona with my parents, too.

This summer I'm going to go to the swimming pool every afternoon with my friends, and perhaps, I will paint something ( I will help my father paiting houses, because he works as a painter), and maybe I will do some school work too.

And what about you? What are you going to do this summer?

I think it’s the last time that I write you. I liked sending you some letters along this course... and I hope that I will continue next year. Have a good summer!

Kind regards,

Biel

Vacation Time by Gerard Capdevila

From Gerard Capdevila to Varsha Rana

Hi Varsha,

Here in Spain we are ending the school year with a lot of work because I had exams last week. Now, two weeks ago we made a synthesis project in relation to the theme of travelling in all the subjects. We will also go on a trip at the end of the school year with all students of 3rd ESO in Tarragona. I hope you all will pass all the subjects but it will be difficult for me because I failed the Catalan language.
I wish you had a good summer and next year we can continue writing to each other as this year.
Enjoy the summer!

Best Regards

Gerard.

Hi Lily! How are you? I hope you're well and it has been well anyway. We finish classes the 20th June and we have to say goodbye to you. This week we have many exams and homework. Now we strive to get good grades and go to 4th year without repeating.

I've liked having the opportunity to speak with you and practice English. I hope that next year we can continue talking. Have you already finished classes? We go on the 19th of June at the beach together. I'm very happy. This is the last outing from this school year.

I have many plans for this summer, I'll go to Calafell for vacation and to a camp site in the beach. During the summer holidays there are many parties on the other villages. And I do not miss any! It will be a special summer with my friends and my family.

What will you do this summer? Will you go away or you'll be in your town? Lily have a good summer! A kiss.

Maria

MY ROUTINE by Maria Masip

From Maria Masip to Lily Cohen

Hi Lily! Today I will explain my two routines, from Monday to Friday and  the weekends. The days I go to school I wake up at 6 in the morning, I have a shower, I brush my teeth, I dress myself, grab breakfast at 7 am and get on the bus. The route the bus goes through different towns and 7:50 I am at the entrance of the school. We have three hours of class, after half an hour of rest and we return to work three hours more. At 14:10 pm we leave the school and come home at almost 3 pm. I eat alone every day, because my parents have to go to work and my brother has lunch with them. When I finish eating I sleep on the couch when I wake up and do my homework. Many days I do not work I run or I go to the gym. I like taking care of my body.  After dinner, I watch TV and go to sleep to start again the next day. Now that it's warm, I go out with friends during the afternoon. During winter it's too cold to go outside.

At the weekends I wake up later than the week days and on Saturday I usually go shopping. So far I do a computer course with my cousin Mark. In the afternoon I  go out with friends at the bar or in the street. Some days we go to other towns nearby with school friends. On Sundays I do homework and go to the street with my friends. I like spending time with them.

This is my routine.
